Despite the fact that champignons can be purchased in the store at any time of the year, some housewives still freeze them.❄️

How to freeze fresh champignons?

First of all, of course, clean them of dirt. If the fruits are small or medium-sized, you can freeze them whole. You can also separate the leg from the cap, this will help save space in the freezer. It is better to cut large specimens into cubes or plates.

Cover the bottom of the freezer with film or cardboard. Place the champignons on it so that they do not touch. Leave for several hours.

When the champignons are frozen, put them in freezer bags or containers.

Mushrooms, frozen in this way, separate well from each other, so you can take any amount for cooking without defrosting the whole package.
